The pizzicarolo was originally "a seller of pizzas and cheeses i.e., stuff that tingles the palate."
Inspired by this traditional Roman figure, Carola Calò opened PizziCarola, a neighborhood store to bring a new idea of grocery shopping, with carefully selected, interesting, tasty, and ethically just products.
The farmers practice natural agriculture, they do not apply chemicals or synthetic substances, they try to safeguard the soil and nourish it to make it more fertile. They live in harmony with plants and animals creating a balanced and sustainable ecosystem.
This social table will be accompanied by Carola Calò's stories about the ingredients chosen for the dishes, to have more awareness of what we eat and to enjoy delicious dishes and natural wine.
